Prayer Request

Well, my time has come to an end. I start back to work, tomorrow, 08/11/08 and John L will be going to a private sitter. I am so thankful to have a wonderful, Godly woman who is going to be taking care of my little guy. I also know that God has an amazing plan for my family, I can't wait to see how it all turns out. Please keep my family in your prayers as we all start our new adventures, me as a working Mother and John L as he begins his daily routines without Mommy by his side.

UPDATE...

His appt w/ Dr. Cory went better than I expected. Then again, I had no idea what to except. He received 2 shots. The first didn't even faze him, now with the second one, he turned real red in the face and let out two big grunts... and believe it or not, that was it! My prayers had definitely been answered.
Dr. Cory also weighted and measured John L. He came in at 13 lbs. and 13 1/2 ounces and he measured at 24 inches. Needless to say, Dr. Cory's comment was "be prepared to have those "Coaches" knocking on your door". That just lit Jeremy up!
I feel very blessed to have a very healthy baby boy.

SHOTS!!!

Today we go visit Dr. Cory, http://www.lakesidepeds.com/, for our 2 1/2 Months check up. Unfortunately, John L will be getting his round of shots today. My heart is already breaking knowing that he has no idea what is to come. Please keep us in your prayers today. Thankfully, Jeremy is going with us, so I don't have to experience this "adventure" on my own.

John L. and Luke Newell

2 1/2 Months and 4 1/2 Months

While on vacation, Steve and Dee decided to take a little vacay themselves. We decided to get the two boys together for the first time and I think they really hit it off. I can't wait to see them grow up together.

BOCA GRANDE 2008

This was John L's first trip to Boca Grande. He loved every minute of it from swimming, riding the golf cart, riding on Daddy's boat to putting his feet in the sand. I am looking forward to next year when he is up and walking.
